2019 Midsummer Melee Standards

The following “standards” are simply recommendations on movements and loading that both you and your teammate should be able to do for reps in order to complete required work in respective divisions. These are NOT all the movements that will be in the competition.

Intermediate

In general, we assume that an “intermediate” athlete can perform at least 90% of all CrossFit Games Open workouts as prescribed, regardless of performance/score.

  • Clean, 155/105

  • Thruster, 115/75

  • DB Snatch 50/35

  • Wall Ball, 20/14

  • Snatch, 95/65

  • Deadlift, 225/155

  • Toes-To-Bar

  • Chest-to-Bar

SCALED

In general, we assume that a “scaled” athlete can perform CrossFit’s 9 Foundational Movements with consistent proficiency.

  • Clean, 95/65

  • Thruster, 75/55

  • DB Snatch 35/20

  • Wall Ball, 14/10

  • Snatch, 75/55

  • Deadlift, 155/105

  • Sit-ups & Hanging knee raises
